This SIG is about the more technical and scientific side of observing. Some of the projects that we would be working on would be occultations, variable stars, on-line data mining, photometry and whatever else tickles people's fancy. This group is mostly about doing more with your telescope than just looking. We're doing data gathering for the professionals, understanding how things work by doing the measurements.
